General Motors is recalling 271,770 Chevrolet Malibu sedans in the United States due to a defect in the rearview camera that could cause distorted or completely blank display images, impairing the driver's rear visibility. Dealers will inspect and replace the camera systems on affected vehicles. General Motors has not disclosed the estimated repair cost for this recall.
