On April 8, the AION RT Super Battery Swap Edition officially launched. Based on the AION RT, this model adopts a "battery-as-a-service" (BaaS) approach, with a vehicle price of RMB 88,800 excluding the battery. It is equipped with CATL’s 54 kWh "Choco-Swap" battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 505 km and completing a battery swap in just 99 seconds. The official battery subscription plan starts at RMB 399 per month, with a limited-time offer providing up to four months of rental fee waivers. Buyers can also opt for interest-free financing and low monthly payment plans, along with benefits including lifetime vehicle warranty, lifetime free data connectivity, and exclusive service privileges. AION plans to accelerate its battery-swap station network expansion, aiming to build over 3,000 stations nationwide by the end of 2024, with a long-term target of 30,000 stations. Each time a battery is swapped, it undergoes comprehensive diagnostics and is recharged using optimized current to maintain battery health and enhance safety. In terms of intelligent features, the new model comes with the ADiGO 6.0 system, featuring a 14.6-inch high-definition central touchscreen that supports split-screen display, full-vehicle voice control, 3D human-machine interaction, and smartphone connectivity. Comfort amenities include power-adjustable front seats with ventilation and heating, a 50W air-cooled wireless fast charger, dual 60W Type-C ports, and dual panoramic sunroofs with electric sunshades. The powertrain uses a 150 kW motor, achieving a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 7-second range. When using DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 26 minutes.
