The Changan Eado Blue Whale Super Hybrid has officially rolled off the production line, marking the 2,000,000th vehicle in the Eado series. As Changan’s first compact sedan equipped with the Blue Whale Super Hybrid system, the new model will make its global debut at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24. In terms of exterior design, the Eado Blue Whale Super Hybrid largely retains the styling of its gasoline-powered counterpart. It features a borderless front grille with horizontal chrome accents, dual L-shaped daytime running lights paired with LED headlights, radar units integrated into the lower corners of the front bumper, and additional chrome trim along the lower section of the front fascia. The vehicle measures 4,785 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm. At the rear, it carries over the current model’s design language, including a full-width taillight bar, an electric rear spoiler, and dual-exhaust-style trim. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen. It runs Changan’s Tianshu Smart Cockpit platform powered by the Tianshu OS infotainment system. All variants come standard with an AI-powered voice assistant based on DeepSeek’s large language model, supporting full-scenario voice interaction. Additional features include a wireless charging pad, an 8-speaker audio system, 256-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and heated and ventilated front seats. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a dedicated 1.5L hybrid engine producing a maximum output of 72 kW. Combined with its oil-electric hybrid system, it achieves an official urban fuel consumption rating of just 2.98 liters per 100 kilometers.
