The GAC Qijing GT7 is scheduled to launch in June 2024, co-developed by GAC and Huawei’s Qiankun. On April 9, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released its key specifications and configuration details. In terms of design, the Qijing GT7 features a shooting brake silhouette, with a front-end width of 1,995 mm, complemented by an aluminum clamshell hood and dynamic crease lines that enhance visual focus. The headlights adopt Huawei’s ADS Crystal Blue lighting design, integrating dual-million-pixel projection headlights, dual-bar daytime running lights, and intelligent driving indicator “Blue Lights.” The vehicle measures 5,050 mm (length) × 1,980 mm (width) × 1,470 mm (height), with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It boasts a wheel-to-height ratio exceeding 51.9% and a wheelbase-to-length ratio surpassing 59%, along with a 21.5° shooting brake angle that balances striking aesthetics with practical interior space. Inside the cabin, it features Huawei HarmonyOS Cockpit powered by the next-generation XiaoYi AI agent, equipped with six intelligent Agent assistants. An 88-inch HUAWEI XHUD augmented reality head-up display system is positioned ahead of the driver. The audio system is the HUAWEI SOUND AI Interactive Star-Ring Diffuser, supporting multi-angle rotation and diverse interactive scenarios. Under the hood, the Qijing GT7 is powered by a TZ220XYF0501 electric motor delivering a rated power of 84 kW and a peak output of 250 kW. It is paired with Huawei’s next-generation Qilin battery, supporting 6C ultra-fast charging—capable of adding 1 km of range per second of charging.
