Leapmotor Lafa5 Ultra display vehicles have started arriving at dealerships nationwide. The model will officially launch this month and is scheduled to debut at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, which opens on April 24. Test-drive vehicles already feature urban Navigation Assistance Pilot (NAP) functionality across cities nationwide. Exterior-wise, the Lafa5 Ultra comes with an exclusive sport package, including a front splitter, side skirts with aerodynamic fins, a rear spoiler, and a rear diffuser. It also features 19-inch gunmetal-gray "Sweep Wing" alloy wheels, matte metallic dark gray brake calipers, and gunmetal-black badging throughout the vehicle, clearly distinguishing it from the standard version. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in "Chasing Wind Gray" synthetic suede, covering a soft-touch area of 4.48 square meters. It includes Ultra-exclusive sport seats, seat belts with body-color accents, and aluminum door sill plates. The front seats offer both ventilation and heating, along with class-leading eight-point massage functionality. Under the hood, the Lafa5 Ultra is powered by a high-output 180 kW electric motor, an upgrade from the standard version’s 160 kW unit. Its chassis has been jointly tuned by Chinese and European teams to balance sporty handling with everyday comfort. In terms of intelligent features, the vehicle is equipped with dual flagship chips—SA8295 and SA8650—as well as LiDAR, enabling city-wide NAP (Navigation Assistance Pilot) functionality without reliance on high-definition maps.
