Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with China's State Administration for Market Regulation, announcing an immediate recall of 15,104 vehicles produced between April 1, 2025, and December 9, 2025. The affected models include certain Dongfeng D560 cargo trucks, D310 cargo trucks, KL-series tractors, and pure-electric tractor models. The recall is due to insufficient cooling during the heat treatment process of the front underrun protection assembly in some vehicles, which results in inadequate strength and non-compliance with relevant national standards. In the event of a collision, this defect may compromise the assembly’s ability to effectively protect other road users, posing a safety hazard. The company will replace the affected front underrun protection assemblies free of charge for all vehicles within the recall scope.
