On April 11, Changan Automobile issued a statement saying it had become aware of online reports claiming "over 100 ride-hailing vehicles repeatedly experiencing battery failures, with a Chongqing-based company suing Changan Automobile." After verification, the company confirmed it has indeed received a lawsuit filed by one enterprise concerning a single ride-hailing vehicle. The dispute involves multiple parties and several transaction stages. Changan Automobile urged the public to remain rational, refrain from believing or spreading rumors, and expressed confidence that judicial authorities will issue a fair ruling in accordance with the law. The company also strongly condemned the enterprise for allegedly distorting facts, exaggerating the situation, drawing sweeping conclusions from isolated cases, and attempting to influence judicial fairness through public opinion. Changan further stated that if its brand and reputation suffer damage as a result, it will resolutely safeguard its rights through legal means.
