Honda officially unveiled its all-electric microcar, the Super-N, on April 11. Based on the gasoline-powered N-One, the Super-N has been fully electrified and features a widened body. Priced from under £20,000, it will initially launch in select global markets, including the UK. The Super-N delivers a standard output of 63 horsepower, which increases to 94 horsepower in Boost mode. Honda has not yet disclosed acceleration figures or top speed. To enhance the driving experience, the vehicle includes simulated gear-shifting functionality and artificial engine sound, though it remains unconfirmed whether multiple classic engine sound options will be offered. Under the WLTP testing cycle, the Super-N offers an estimated range of approximately 206 kilometers. If introduced in the U.S. market, its EPA-rated range is expected to be around 160 kilometers. While the official battery capacity hasn’t been released, early prototype information suggests it may be equipped with a battery pack of about 29 kWh. Stylistically, the Super-N adopts a retro design—compact yet highly distinctive—with its wide-body stance evoking memories of the 1980s Honda City Turbo. The Honda N-One has been continuously sold in Japan since its debut in 2011, and the latest generation, launched in 2020, remains on sale today.
