South Korean autonomous driving startup Autonomous A2Z (A2Z) has signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with HL Klemove, a subsidiary of HL Corporation, to jointly develop core end-to-end Level 4 autonomous driving technologies based on high-performance computing (HPC). Leveraging data collected from A2Z’s Level 4 autonomous shuttle ROii during its pilot operations in the Cheonggyecheon area, the two companies will integrate A2Z’s Level 4 autonomous driving platform, operational expertise, and urban demonstration data with HL Klemove’s technological capabilities in radar, cameras, high-performance controllers, sensor fusion, perception, and control.
