In the first quarter of 2026, Geely Holding Group achieved record-breaking total sales across all its brands, delivering 937,927 vehicles—the highest figure ever for the same period in history. Of this total, 491,006 units were new energy vehicles (NEVs), up 5.8% year-over-year, accounting for 52.4% of overall sales. Geely Auto brand sold 709,358 vehicles in Q1, including 369,059 NEVs, a 9% year-over-year increase, representing a NEV penetration rate of 52%. Overseas markets delivered strong performance, with export volumes reaching 203,024 units in the first quarter—up 126% year-over-year and setting a new historical record. Notably, NEVs accounted for 64% of total exports. By brand, Geely’s China Star series sold 311,800 units, while the Galaxy series recorded sales of 238,800 units. Premium brand Zeekr delivered 77,000 vehicles, surging 86% year-over-year. Volvo Cars reported Q1 sales of 153,000 units, with a NEV penetration rate of 47.3%. Proton achieved sales of 49,000 units—the highest level for the same period since 2004.
