Jensen International Group has officially unveiled the name of its new performance car—the Interceptor GTX—marking a pivotal step in the revival of the Jensen brand. The vehicle will make its debut shortly. The "Interceptor" name was previously used on classic models that established Jensen's reputation for luxurious grand tourers, but the new Interceptor GTX is not a replica or direct successor to those earlier cars; rather, it is an entirely new product inspired by that heritage. The car will feature an aluminum chassis and a handcrafted aluminum body, powered by a bespoke V8 engine, though specific performance figures have not yet been disclosed. Jensen plans to unveil a pre-production version in the second quarter and has clearly positioned the vehicle as a competitor to Aston Martin.
