BYD recently launched its plug-in hybrid model, the Yuan Pro DM-i, in Mexico. Built on BYD’s DM-i Super Hybrid technology, the vehicle delivers a combined NEDC range of 1,045 kilometers, offering an electric driving experience alongside long range and low fuel consumption. Positioned as a compact premium SUV, the new model comes equipped with multiple intelligent features designed to meet the needs of daily family commuting and long-distance travel. This launch further enriches BYD’s product lineup in Mexico, expanding its reach to more user groups and usage scenarios. In recent years, demand for new energy vehicles in Mexico has continued to grow, with the compact premium SUV segment becoming the largest SUV category in the local market. The introduction of the Yuan Pro DM-i provides a new option for Mexico’s plug-in hybrid SUV market.
