In March 2026, Genesis surpassed the one-million-sales milestone in its home market of South Korea, reaching a cumulative total of 1,002,998 vehicles sold. Since its launch in 2015, the brand has expanded its product lineup from an initial focus on sedans to include SUVs and electric vehicles. In 2020, Genesis exceeded 100,000 annual sales in South Korea for the first time, and in 2021 it set a record for the highest annual sales volume in the Korean market. The G80 emerged as the brand’s best-selling model, accounting for 42.1% of total sales. South Korea remains Genesis’ largest single market globally. Moving forward, the brand plans to further expand its customer touchpoints in Korea by adding offline experience centers, enhancing its online store, and introducing exclusive customization services.
