On June 2, ASENSING and OMOWAY announced a deepened strategic partnership. Leveraging OMOWAY’s strengths in two-wheeled self-balancing technology and its universal intelligent architecture, along with ASENSING’s expertise in automotive-grade high-precision spatiotemporal intelligence, the two companies aim to jointly enhance the performance of “two-wheeled robots” in complex scenarios and accelerate their deployment across all application environments. The OMO-X, the world’s first mass-produced self-balancing motorcycle developed by OMOWAY with technical support from ASENSING, has entered mass production and is set to begin deliveries in Indonesia soon. ASENSING specializes in automotive-grade high-precision positioning and attitude sensing technologies and possesses full-stack capabilities spanning chips, algorithms, and software. The automotive-grade IMU module it supplies for the OMO-X is built on MEMS inertial measurement chips and precision manufacturing processes, delivering stable, real-time data output even in challenging environments to support accurate vehicle attitude measurement and dynamic perception. Powered by its proprietary OMO-ROBOT universal architecture, OMOWAY is driving the evolution of two-wheeled vehicles into “two-wheeled robots” equipped with perception and decision-making capabilities. Through deep hardware-software co-optimization, the OMO-X integrates aerospace-grade control logic with reinforcement learning techniques to achieve millisecond-level active safety balancing, effectively addressing stability challenges on slippery surfaces and through complex curves—shifting from passive protection to proactive safety. Both parties stated that they will use the mass production of the OMO-X as a catalyst to further deepen collaboration in intelligent and safety technologies, advancing technological upgrades and global adoption of two-wheeled transportation solutions.
