On June 2, China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) released the C-ICAP assessment results for intelligent connected vehicles. The Xiaomi SU7 achieved the highest scores across all categories, including driver assistance, parking, intelligent cockpit, and privacy protection. All variants of the SU7 are equipped with Xiaomi’s HAD (Highly Advanced Driving) system, featuring flagship-grade driver-assistance hardware and the Xiaomi HyperOS intelligent cockpit. In both driving assistance and parking assistance tests, the SU7 earned a top-tier "Five-Star Plus" rating, demonstrating capabilities such as autonomous vehicle following, lane-change collision avoidance, and multi-scenario automatic parking. Regarding the intelligent cockpit, the vehicle’s infotainment system offers rapid response times and highly accurate voice recognition, enabling voice control over multimedia, climate settings, navigation, and other functions. Its human-machine interaction logic aligns with typical user habits while also prioritizing passenger comfort. In the privacy protection evaluation, the SU7 received a perfect five-star score. Its onboard cameras and microphones can be manually disabled, vehicle operation data is not disclosed without authorization, and user information is safeguarded by a comprehensive management and control mechanism. C-ICAP is China’s authoritative evaluation standard for intelligent connected vehicles, and the Xiaomi SU7 has achieved high scores across all assessed dimensions.
