On May 28, BYD Dynasty Network announced compensation benefits for delayed deliveries of its Flash Charge models due to overwhelming demand and extended delivery timelines. Since its launch on March 26, the B-segment all-electric SUV Song Ultra EV received 37,216 orders in its first week, surpassing 80,000 cumulative orders within two months. The all-new Tang EV garnered over 100,000 pre-orders in just 14 days, while the third-generation Yuan PLUS secured more than 30,000 orders within one week of its debut. The strong sales of these models are primarily attributed to BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, Flash Charge technology, and long driving range—features designed to alleviate range anxiety and charging concerns for users. To date, BYD has built more than 6,100 Flash Charge stations nationwide, making it the automaker with the largest self-built charging network in China. To accelerate deliveries, BYD has initiated round-the-clock, 24/7 battery production at its factories to maximize output capacity. Under the new compensation policy, customers who place orders for any Dynasty Flash Charge model will receive one day of complimentary Flash Charge service for each day their delivery is delayed beyond 30 days from the order confirmation date.
