Currently, domestically produced new energy vehicles commonly exhibit a significant increase in curb weight. To enhance perceived value, some models are heavily equipped with non-essential features—such as in-car karaoke systems, clothes-drying rods, and even toilets—and certain vehicles have transformed their trunks into fish tanks or promoted usage scenarios like "mobile hotpot" or "on-the-go bedrooms." Driven primarily by marketing rather than genuine user needs, these additions are widely regarded within the industry as examples of wasteful and unproductive competition ("inefficient involution"). Automotive engineers have pointed out that as a means of transportation, a car should prioritize core attributes such as safety, reliability, durability, and handling stability, rather than blindly chasing higher specifications and feature counts. If chassis tuning and comprehensive durability validation fail to keep pace with ever-increasing battery capacities and added configurations, it could lead to quality issues and potential safety hazards.
