Official images of the all-new Audi Q7 have leaked ahead of its official debut. The original Q7 first launched nearly 21 years ago, and it has been 11 years since the current second-generation model was introduced. Since its market launch in 2015, the current Q7 has undergone two mid-cycle updates—in 2020 and again in 2024. The new Q7 features a more aggressive design language, including split LED headlights, a wide honeycomb grille, more sculpted rear shoulder lines, and a more upright rear-end profile. Inside, the cabin is expected to mirror that of the upcoming Q9, equipped with a digital instrument cluster, a large central touchscreen, and a passenger-side entertainment display—though premium features like power-closing doors and an electrochromic panoramic sunroof will not be offered. The vehicle will retain its three-row, seven-seat configuration. Under the hood, the new Q7 will abandon the previous MLB platform in favor of Audi’s latest Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), which already underpins the new A6 and supports gasoline, mild-hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Audi states the new Q7 will offer sporty styling, a highly flexible interior, premium materials, user-centric technology, and a range of driving dynamics—from comfort-oriented to more dynamic handling. Audi has confirmed that the all-new Q7 will make its global debut in early second half of 2024. Meanwhile, the brand is also developing the larger, flagship three-row SUV—the Q9—which will eventually compete directly with the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
