Xiaomi Unveils Pengcheng N90 Max Explorer Edition with Native Electric Pop-Up Roof

On the evening of September 7, Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, unveiled the Pengcheng N90 Max Explorer Edition at Xiaomi's autumn flagship product launch event. The vehicle features a native electric pop-up roof module, offering an interior headroom of up to 2.29 meters, allowing occupants to stand inside. The upper level is equipped with five mesh windows and includes air conditioning, charging, and lighting functions. Lei Jun emphasized that the pop-up roof is an integrated, native design seamlessly incorporated into the vehicle’s structure and does not need to be removed for annual inspections. He also cautioned that the pop-up roof should only be used when the vehicle is stationary and off public roads, and advised against its use in severe weather conditions.
