The P7 is the second production car of XPENG Motors, positioned as a medium-sized BEV coupe. IIA learned from XPENG Motors that the P7 will be available in the second quarter of next year and will be delivered simultaneously. The new car will be equipped with a four-wheel drive system consisting of two motors, and the NEDC's comprehensive cruising range will exceed 600km.

The new car's exterior features a new “Cosmic Energy” design concept. The front end uses a closed grille with a strip of headlights to make the new car look stylish and avant-garde. On the side of the car body, the upwardly raised waistline and window line create a visual sense of dive down, and the addition of a hidden door handle further reduces the wind resistance.

The design of the tail of the P7 is simple, and the addition of the ducktail shape adds a sporty atmosphere. The popular taillight strip is used below, which echoes the design of the front. In addition, its charging port is on the left rear side of the car body. In terms of power, the P7 will be equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and its NEDC comprehensive cruising range will exceed 600km.

It is reported that P7 is already in the actual testing stage, and will continue to test the performance of vehicles such as durability, safety and driving control. The four-poster road endurance and durability test has been successfully completed. The test continued non-stop for 300 hours, simulating an actual journey of 400,000 km. And a range of 13 different kinds of highly challenging high-intensity road surfaces was selected to create "nightmare road conditions" integrated into the test-bench specifics. After completion of the test, the P7 was completely disassembled and examined to assess actual fatigue, with zero tolerance for any slight fatigue fracture. The P7 passed this test with no signs of any stress fractures or damage.
