The United Auto Workers (UAW) confirmed that a Ford Motor Company employee who confronted former President Donald Trump in person last month at a Michigan plant—criticizing his handling of the Epstein case—faced no disciplinary action and retained his job. During the encounter, the worker’s remarks prompted Trump to flip him off, hurl expletives, and even threaten to get him fired. At a political conference, UAW Vice President Laura Dickens stated that the worker involved, Thomas Sabra, “has no disciplinary record whatsoever,” emphasizing, “Freedom of speech is real.” The union’s stance underscores its support for members’ rights to express political views.
