Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna stated that the company will not compel customers seeking rare models to purchase its first electric vehicle, the Luce. Although reservations for the Luce have not yet opened, it has already received "very positive" market feedback. The new car will make its global debut at a special event in Rome on May 25, commemorating the day in 1947 when Ferrari’s first racing car, the 125 S, won the Rome Grand Prix. Following the Luce launch, Ferrari plans to introduce four additional new models by the end of 2026 and aims to unveil at least 20 models in total by 2030. Vigna did not disclose the Luce’s exact price, only saying it would be revealed after the full launch process; earlier rumors suggested it could exceed $500,000. Currently, Ferrari’s order books are filled through the second half of next year.
