During the 2026 Spring Festival holiday, Beijing will adjust its motor vehicle traffic management measures. From February 14 to 23 and on February 28, vehicles registered in Beijing will be exempt from the weekday peak-hour regional license-plate-based driving restrictions. Additionally, non-Beijing-registered passenger vehicles holding a valid "Jinjing Pass" (valid within the Sixth Ring Road) will also be exempt during these dates from the rush-hour restrictions (7–9 a.m. and 5–8 p.m.) within the Fifth Ring Road, as well as from the odd-even license plate restriction in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, these vehicles must still comply with the all-day prohibition against entering roads within the Second Ring Road (including the road itself), Jianguomenwai Avenue, Fuxingmenwai Avenue, and Fuxing Road (from Muxidi Bridge to Xinxing Bridge). The adjustment aims to facilitate travel for residents during the Spring Festival holiday.
