Since this vehicle requires 7.5 to 8 quarts, Mozalez Auto Repair requested an additional payment of $25 to $30 (at $10 per quart) to cover the difference. Dissatisfied, the customer voiced complaints, prompting a technician from the shop to respond on TikTok, stating that customers could bring their own oil—such as Walmart’s Super Tech full synthetic oil (around $4 per quart)—and emphasizing that the shop’s higher pricing reflects the convenience it offers. Many online commenters supported using Walmart’s oil, noting its reliable performance, high cost-effectiveness, and arguing that regular oil changes matter more than brand name. Some users also shared their long-term experiences using Super Tech without any issues. As of now, Mozalez Auto Repair has not issued any further response regarding the matter.
