Tesla recently launched a new entry-level version of the Cybertruck in North America, priced at $59,990 (approximately RMB 414,500), marking a $20,000 reduction compared to the previous dual-motor variant. The new model eliminates features such as towing capability, air suspension, ventilated seats, and premium audio systems, replacing the previously underperforming rear-wheel-drive version. Meanwhile, the top-tier Cyberbeast trim has also seen a price cut of $15,000, now starting at $99,990. Although the Cybertruck garnered over one million pre-orders before its launch, its sales have remained sluggish due to a higher-than-expected market price and multiple recalls that damaged its reputation. Data shows that U.S. deliveries in 2025 totaled just 22,037 units, a 48.1% year-over-year decline—far below Elon Musk’s earlier target of producing 250,000 units annually.
