Li Auto has recently officially joined the China Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (CCCEU) as a member of its Automotive Working Group. The decision was unanimously approved by the Chamber’s Board of Directors. As a Chinese manufacturer of new energy and intelligent vehicles, Li Auto, founded in 2015, has been listed on both the Nasdaq and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In April 2024, the company registered its first overseas R&D entity in Munich, Germany, and formally established its German R&D center in January 2025, focusing on key areas including styling design, power semiconductors, chassis systems, electric drive technologies, and regulatory certification. The CCCEU, headquartered in Brussels, was established in 2018 and represents the interests of over 1,000 Chinese-invested enterprises operating in Europe. Previously, the Chamber issued a statement welcoming the positive outcome reached in the EU-China electric vehicle case, emphasizing that the competitiveness of China’s EV industry stems from technological innovation and market mechanisms—not subsidies.
