Ford Motor Company is recalling 412,774 vehicles sold in the U.S. market due to a risk of rear toe link fracture, which could lead to loss of steering control and increase the likelihood of a crash. The recall was announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on February 24. Ford will replace the affected components free of charge on impacted vehicles to eliminate the safety hazard.
