Ford Motor Company recently announced a recall of more than 450,000 SUVs in the United States, affecting multiple models. According to a notice issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on February 24, the recall includes approximately 413,000 Ford Explorers from model years 2017 to 2019, as well as about 25,000 Ford Escape models from 2023 to 2025 and Lincoln Nautilus Plug-in Hybrid models from 2023 to 2026. The recall notice did not provide detailed reasons, but such recalls are typically related to potential safety defects. Ford will contact affected vehicle owners to arrange free repairs.
