Due to fire risks, Hyundai, Kia, and BMW will recall a total of 107,138 vehicles in South Korea. The recall affects multiple models and primarily involves issues such as overheating components in the engine compartment or electrical system failures that could lead to spontaneous combustion. South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has confirmed the defects and ordered the manufacturers to replace or repair the faulty parts free of charge for vehicle owners. Hyundai and Kia account for the majority of the recalled vehicles, while BMW's recall involves certain imported models. All three automakers stated they will proactively contact affected owners and arrange inspections and repairs as soon as possible to eliminate safety hazards.
