KFC's mobile app has recently undergone an intelligent upgrade, launching "Xiao K," an AI-powered ordering assistant built on Alibaba's Qwen large language model. Xiao K can accurately understand users' expressions regarding menu items, flavor preferences, and complex instructions, maintaining high accuracy across multi-turn conversations and intelligently recommending meal combos that fit both budget and taste. The assistant also features memory capabilities, automatically suggesting frequently ordered items during morning rush hours based on past orders. Even more conveniently, users can simply say “Order me an OK Meal” via their car’s voice system, prompting the vehicle’s interface to seamlessly connect with Xiao K—automatically locating the nearest store, selecting the meal, processing payment, and initiating navigation for pickup, delivering a fully voice-enabled ordering experience from start to finish.
