BASF Group recently released its financial results for fiscal year 2025, reporting annual sales of €59.7 billion, a year-over-year decline primarily driven by adverse currency effects. Despite lower earnings from core businesses, strong performance in autonomous operations drove EBIT to €16 billion, with net income also rising to €16 billion. On the cash flow front, free cash flow surged to €13 billion, and cash flow from investing activities improved significantly. Looking ahead to 2026, BASF expects adjusted EBITDA (excluding special items) to reach €6.2–7.0 billion, with free cash flow projected at €1.5–2.3 billion. The group will also advance emission reduction measures to address rising CO₂ emissions and shape its strategy based on forecasts of the global economic environment.
