Although Ford’s overall sales in February declined by 5.5% year-over-year, and are down 5.4% year-to-date, several models delivered standout performances. Sales of the three key SUVs—Explorer, Bronco, and Expedition—surged by 33.4%, 27.6%, and 26.2%, respectively. Mustang sales soared 54.5% year-over-year, with nearly 8,000 units sold so far this year. Ranger sales rose by nearly 30%, while the Bronco Sport posted its best monthly performance ever, up 12.4%. Lincoln also showed strong momentum, with February sales up 12.2%. The Aviator and Navigator saw dramatic increases of 50.1% and 31.8%, respectively. However, F-Series pickup truck sales fell by 16.2%, and Ford’s EV lineup was hit hard by the expiration of federal tax credits: Mustang Mach-E sales plummeted 54.6%, and F-150 Lightning deliveries plunged 76.3%, dragging Ford’s total EV sales down by more than 70%.
