On March 5, XPeng AeroHT achieved a significant milestone at its world’s first mass-production flying car factory in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, with five "Land Aircraft Carrier" flying vehicles rolling off the production line on the same day and successfully completing multi-vehicle test flights. This marks the product's transition from R&D validation to the preparation phase for commercial mass production. The factory covers an area of approximately 120,000 square meters and, at full capacity, can produce one flying vehicle every 30 minutes. On the same day, XPeng AeroHT, together with Guangzhou Urban Construction Investment Group and the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI) under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, launched the Haixinsha Omnispace Intelligent Experience Center to jointly explore low-altitude flight scenarios and advance the development of Guangzhou’s distinctive model for low-altitude economy. The "Land Aircraft Carrier" features a cyber-mecha design aesthetic. It can be driven on roads with only a standard Class C driver’s license and measures 5.5 × 2 × 2 meters. It is the world’s only car capable of carrying a flying vehicle inside it—and uniquely, the only two-seat flying vehicle that fits into a car’s trunk. Equipped with an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage range-extending platform, it offers a driving range exceeding 1,000 kilometers and can charge the flying vehicle while driving or parked, supporting five to six flight cycles per charge.
