A Honda-certified technician shared a handy tip on social media: if your Honda vehicle is equipped with the "Tire Fill Assist" feature, you don’t need a tire pressure gauge when inflating your tires. Simply inflate the tires while the vehicle is turned on, and once the correct pressure is reached, the car will automatically emit a beep—making the process both simple and precise. This feature was first introduced in the 2016 Honda Pilot and has since been included in models such as the Ridgeline, Odyssey, and Passport. Leveraging the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), the system not only accurately determines when inflation is complete but also enhances driving safety, fuel efficiency, and tire longevity. Experts caution that incorrect tire pressure can lead to blowouts or accelerated wear, underscoring the importance of proper inflation.
