According to a Bloomberg report on March 6, Ferrari is developing a high-performance version of the Purosangue, expected to enter production in the second half of this year. The model will retain its naturally aspirated V12 engine and place particular emphasis on enhanced handling dynamics. Aimed at establishing a higher price tier and boosting per-vehicle profitability—without significantly increasing overall production volume—the new variant builds on the success of the Purosangue, Ferrari’s first four-door, four-seat “FUV” (Ferrari Utility Vehicle). Since its launch in 2022, the Purosangue has been widely popular, with a starting price of approximately €450,000 (around RMB 3.608 million). To preserve brand exclusivity, Ferrari has capped Purosangue production at no more than 20% of its total manufacturing capacity. Despite accelerating its electrification strategy, Ferrari remains committed to retaining high-performance internal combustion engines, underscoring its confidence in the V12 market. The company declined to comment on future models.
