Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell has stepped down for personal reasons. She has led the minivan-only brand since 2021 and simultaneously oversaw Alfa Romeo’s North American operations. Stellantis has appointed current Dodge CEO Matt McAlear as her successor. McAlear will continue to lead Dodge while also taking on responsibility for Chrysler and Alfa Romeo in North America. Currently, Chrysler relies solely on two minivan models—the Pacifica and Voyager—with 2024 sales up just 1% year-over-year. A new Pacifica is expected to launch in 2027, but the brand urgently needs to expand its lineup, including rumored next-generation 300 sedans and SUVs. Meanwhile, Alfa Romeo saw its sales drop 36% last year, and its model range requires a comprehensive refresh; a new Giulia is set to debut soon, though details remain unclear. Some analysts suggest Chrysler could follow Dodge’s high-performance strategy—such as introducing premium or performance-oriented variants—to revitalize the brand.
