Facing frequent quality controversies in recent years, Stellantis announced it has placed quality issues at the core of its management agenda and plans to hire approximately 2,000 new engineers to drive internal reforms. CEO Antonio Filosa described the move as a "deep reset," aimed at overhauling its execution systems and quality management processes. Chief Quality Officer Sébastien Jacquet has joined the company’s strategic leadership team to ensure quality improvements are implemented across all brands. Although Dodge topped J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study rankings in both 2020 and 2023, it plummeted to last place in 2024, while Chrysler and Ram also performed below the industry average. The company hopes this reform will help rebuild consumer trust ahead of a wave of new vehicle launches.
