Huawei and GAC Group have officially launched the first mass-produced vehicle, the GT7, under their jointly established new energy brand "Qijing." The GT7 is a shooting brake-style coupe, with its standout feature being the world’s first mass-produced model equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun 896-line LiDAR. This LiDAR offers four times the resolution of the previous-generation 128-line system, enabling precise detection of obstacles as small as 14 cm in height at distances up to 120 meters, and supporting nighttime identification of small animal movements up to 55 meters away. Combined with an L3-grade intelligent driving hardware architecture and Huawei’s ADS 4.0 collision-avoidance system, the GT7 delivers full-scenario advanced driver assistance capabilities. Underpinning the vehicle is Huawei’s XMC digital chassis platform, which integrates systems including triple motors and suspension for millisecond-level coordinated control. Standard features include a dual-chamber air suspension and electromagnetic dampers, fine-tuned by a supercar-level chassis calibration team. The GT7 is offered in both all-electric (with CLTC-rated range exceeding 720 km) and extended-range (with a combined range of 1,200 km) variants. A 15-minute fast charge replenishes up to 200 km of range. The intelligent cockpit runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS, enabling seamless connectivity across multiple devices. Priced in the RMB 300,000 segment, the GT7 targets premium intelligent driving and a luxurious, performance-oriented driving experience.
