Porsche has officially launched the all-electric Cayenne S, filling the product gap between the base model and the Turbo variant. The new model features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a combined output of 536 horsepower, which can temporarily surge to 657 horsepower with launch control activated. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph. Equipped with a 113 kWh battery pack, the Cayenne S supports 400 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in under 16 minutes (when using the driver-side DC charging port). Externally, the Cayenne S is distinguished by its volcano gray metallic front and rear bumpers and is available in 13 exterior colors. Inside, buyers can opt for the black-and-green “Interior Style Package,” which pairs with the Mystic Green paint finish. Standard equipment includes PTV Plus torque vectoring, active suspension, ceramic brakes, and the Sport Chrono package—which features a “Push-to-Pass” function that delivers an extra 120 horsepower for up to 10 seconds. In the U.S. market, the Cayenne S starts at $128,650 (including destination charges)—$17,300 more than the base model but $36,700 less than the Turbo variant—with deliveries expected to begin in late summer.
