Although the Renault Group currently does not sell complete vehicles in China, Philippe Brunet, Chief Technical Officer of the Group and Managing Director of ACDC, recently made it clear that the company will continue to deepen its presence in the Chinese market. Future priorities include developing new vehicle models in China—some of which will be based on a shared platform developed through its partnership with Geely—and launching them in overseas markets. Additionally, Renault plans to source components from China for its European operations and leverage the strengths of Chinese companies in intelligent technologies to enhance its global competitiveness.
