Facing a sharp profit decline in 2025, Volkswagen Group plans a strong rebound in 2026 with the launch of more than 20 new models. Key highlights include several compact EVs: the Volkswagen ID. Polo (based on the MEB+ platform), Škoda Epiq, Cupra Raval, and the small all-electric crossover ID. Cross. SUVs remain central to the strategy, with Volkswagen unveiling a next-generation T-Roc hybrid and the successor to the ID.4, renamed ID. Tiguan. Also debuting will be the Škoda Peaq (a three-row all-electric SUV) and Audi’s Q7 and Q9—the latter replacing the A8 as Audi’s flagship model. Additionally, Audi will revive the A2 as a fully electric model and introduce a new RS6 plug-in hybrid performance wagon. The Volkswagen Golf will gain a hybrid variant, while the ID.3 receives a mid-cycle refresh. Porsche will launch an all-electric Cayenne with 1,156 horsepower and may unveil an electric 718. Bentley’s first all-electric SUV and Lamborghini’s Urus SE Performante are also on the roster.
