On March 12, Huang Hongsheng, founder of Skyworth Group, publicly stated that new energy vehicles (NEVs) offer low charging costs, utilize renewable energy, and are unaffected by oil-related conflicts, and are expected to gradually replace internal combustion engine vehicles as the mainstream between 2026 and 2050. Facing intense domestic competition, Skyworth Auto is now focusing on overseas markets, with strategic emphasis on the United States, Mexico, Canada, South America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Huang noted that Chinese electric vehicles possess outstanding global competitiveness, and Skyworth aims to emulate the "Transsion model" by leveraging its overseas expansion strategy to seize significant international market opportunities.
