BMW Group Achieves Solid Growth in 2025, with Pre-Tax Profit Exceeding €10 Billion and a Stable Pre-Tax Margin of 7.7% Despite facing additional tariff pressures, the Group continues to lead the industry through its technology-neutral strategy, globally balanced footprint, and strong product portfolio. 2026 will be BMW’s “Year of China Products,” with around 20 new models slated for launch. These include the all-new, China-specific long-wheelbase BMW iX3 (making its global debut at the Beijing Auto Show) and the next-generation BMW i3, which premiered in Munich on March 18. The new iX3 is already selling strongly in Europe, accounting for one-third of orders and prompting BMW’s Hungarian plant to shift to double-shift production. By the end of 2026, BMW plans to offer 20 all-electric models, and by 2027, it will launch more than 40 new vehicles—including its first all-electric M high-performance model. In China, BMW is deepening its R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and local partnerships. The Shenyang plant will produce the long-wheelbase iX3, integrating China’s AI ecosystem and BMW’s sixth-generation electric drive technology to set a new benchmark for intelligent electric vehicles.
