Additionally, an Escalent survey revealed that 51% of teenage respondents hope to drive a sedan in the future—significantly higher than those preferring SUVs (31%) or pickup trucks (14%). Analysts suggest this generation of young people, having grown up in SUV-dominated households, is seeking to express individuality through sedans. Automotive media outlet Motor1 expressed hope that this emerging trend will lead to more affordable sedan offerings.
