During the "Harmony Intelligent Mobility Lounge" live-stream event on April 26, Yu Chengdong—Executive Director of Huawei, Chairman of the Product Investment Review Committee, and Chairman of the Terminal BG—responded for the first time to the controversy surrounding the AITO S9 series' earlier moose test results. He stated that the actual moose test performance of the AITO S9 was excellent, with the S9 achieving 84.1 km/h and the S9T reaching 83.3 km/h. However, he noted that some widely circulated online test videos involved deliberate interference, including deflating tires, loosening wheel lug bolts, and even causing wheels to detach during driving. Earlier this March, AITO’s legal department issued a statement clarifying that multiple platforms had disseminated videos falsely claiming the AITO S9 "lost control during moose tests," which were later verified to involve malicious manipulation. The company emphasized these were not official tests conducted by accredited institutions according to national standards and announced it had initiated legal proceedings against the implicated MCN agency, Xiaomo Interactive Entertainment.
