During the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Porsche China CEO Oliver Blume addressed concerns over declining sales, stating that the company prioritizes long-term growth and brand value over short-term sales figures. Data shows that Porsche’s sales in China have declined for four consecutive years, with deliveries in 2025 falling below 42,000 units—a 26% year-over-year drop and nearly 60% lower than its 2021 peak. In the first quarter of 2026, Porsche delivered 60,991 vehicles globally, down 15% year-over-year, including 7,519 units in China, a 21% decline. The North American market also showed weakness, with the electric vehicle segment particularly affected. Blume emphasized that Porsche’s strategy centers on “value over volume,” and the company will continue strengthening its motorsport heritage and brand appeal while adhering to a long-term development path.
