On June 26, 2024, Li Auto simultaneously commenced the first deliveries of its all-new Li L8 in Changzhou, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Shanghai. The Li L8 is a native five-seater flagship SUV officially launched on June 23, offered in two variants—Ultra and Livis—with nationwide uniform retail prices of RMB 369,800 and RMB 429,800, respectively. The initial sales period runs until 24:00 on July 6, 2026. During this period, buyers can enjoy an immediate RMB 10,000 cash discount, bringing the limited-time promotional prices down to RMB 359,800 and RMB 419,800, along with multiple configuration upgrades and financial interest subsidies. Additionally, first owners of any Li Auto vehicle are eligible for an extra RMB 10,000 repurchase credit. The Li L8 measures 5,135 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,045 mm. Its exterior features a short front overhang and long rear overhang proportion, complemented by a fastback silhouette and full-width LED light bars at both front and rear. The trunk offers a standard capacity of 820 liters—enough to accommodate up to 13 carry-on suitcases—and expands to 2,388 liters when the second-row seats are folded flat. Inside, the traditional instrument cluster is eliminated in favor of a 29-inch 6K panoramic display; the Livis variant further adds a 21-inch 4K rear-seat mobile screen. Both front and second-row seats come standard with zero-gravity seating across all trims, making the Li L8 the first five-seater SUV to offer four zero-gravity seats as standard equipment. In terms of intelligent driving capabilities, the Ultra variant is equipped with a single self-developed Maha M100 chip delivering 1,280 TOPS of computing power, while the Livis version features dual M100 chips for a combined 2,560 TOPS. Both models include seven 8-megapixel cameras, with the Livis adding a 360-degree quad-LiDAR system. Powering the entire lineup is a standard 72.7 kWh 5C extended-range dedicated battery, enabling a CLTC pure-electric range of 430 km, a combined range of 1,670 km, and a WLTC-equivalent fuel consumption of 6.2 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. For chassis configuration, the Ultra comes standard with the “Magic Carpet” wire-controlled suspension system, featuring third-generation dual-chamber, dual-valve air springs, steer-by-wire, and rear-wheel steering, achieving a turning radius of just 5.1 meters. The Livis variant, meanwhile, is equipped with an 800V active suspension and EMB (Electro-Mechanical Brake) wire-controlled braking system.
