Recently, online rumors claimed that Guangzhou Huali College had banned Xiaomi vehicles from entering its campus. In response, the college issued a statement on June 28, 2026, clarifying that it strictly enforces its regulations requiring all external vehicles to register in advance before entering campus. All visiting vehicles must gain access using a reservation invitation code, and the college does not impose any restrictions targeting specific vehicle brands. The statement added that, according to a review of surveillance footage from the past three months, all properly registered vehicles—regardless of brand—have been able to enter and exit the campus normally. The college also noted that it is still investigating other related rumors and will firmly rectify any issues identified in its operations. It expressed gratitude for public oversight. Additionally, publicly available video footage shows Xiaomi vehicles entering and exiting the campus without issue.
