Ferrari officially launched its first all-electric model, the Luce, in the Chinese market on June 26, with a starting price of RMB 3.988 million. All 88 units initially allocated for China have already been sold out. Ferrari positions the Luce not as a traditional supercar but as a "premium lifestyle vehicle targeting affluent consumers." Although its performance specifications and charging capabilities lag behind those of certain domestic high-performance electric vehicles, market response has exceeded expectations. Rumors have circulated that purchasing the Luce might grant priority access to future limited-edition supercars; however, Enrico Galliera, Ferrari’s former Chief Marketing Officer, has repeatedly denied this claim, emphasizing that the Luce is aimed at a new customer segment distinct from Ferrari’s traditional collector base.
