Uber has ended its integration partnership with Waymo for autonomous ride-hailing services in Phoenix, and Waymo’s self-driving vehicles are no longer available for booking through the Uber app in the region. The service remains available only in Austin and Atlanta. Following the announcement, Uber's stock price fell by 1%. The two companies had operated a pilot collaboration in Phoenix for nearly three years. Uber is now planning to launch a separate, independent autonomous vehicle partnership in the area. The termination has been described as a structural adjustment and does not represent a setback for either company’s development.
